Focuses on building both strength and mass.
My rep scheme starts @ 10 for each exercise, then I build up in weight and drop the reps down low and boost the intensity up. Its worked very well for me to gain a lot of mass and strength in a short time.

Definitely go with juicing over blending. Unless you buy some insane $700 blender you'll get all kinds of stringy fibers and chunks that will make you want to puke haha. You can get a cheap juicer used for like $30 on classified ad sites.
