I would use a max of 2% BA and 20% BB for safety sake...at 15 the cyp may crystalize out due to the iso...20% will not hurt you

I would use a medium setting in your case for the stove...just don't heat to quickly. As far as cooling, just untill you can handle the vitem safely without burning yourself...keep it pretty warm so it is easier to filter and so the mix doesn't cloud up before you can drop it into the water...

um...just remember...the effective filtration pressure load of a 2micron (PVDF) syringe filter is 75psi...lol!

also...a 2% Bleach solutionn (in water of course) will get as clean as you need to be considering the beakers and flasks will be pre-filtration. Just make sure you rinse well. Another alternative is a solution called MadaCide...very effective. ...or simply rinse with at least 91% isopropyl...
