I can relate to you on both the broken leg and new business front. When I co-founded a business in NYC and travelled all the time is exactly when I stopped training. Then I broke my fib and tib a few years later, and a year after that started another new business which I eventually sold. I...
Anyone here a hockey fan? I lost a lot of interest after Vancouver humiliated Canada in 2011 with their un-sportsmanlike "fans" and riot, and then the 2012 lockout, but I can't help but root for Nashville right now. Just love a scrappy underdog story!! The city must be going bonkers right now...
I'm currently taking Ostarine (and Cardarine, which most people classify as a SARM even though technically it isn't), and I would definitely recommend this combination for fat loss or recompositioning. I am new to SARMs and am only about 3 weeks in my first cycle of this to boot, so I don't have...
My gym is usually empty in the evenings, but last night I had a gym marker sighting. Filthy towels and sweaty shirt in four different places, even though I was the only other person there! I gathered and dumped his gross crap right in front of him while he was grunting like a jackass and...
That's a good point. I think men and women both internalise this kind of thing, even though it isn't their faults (usually lol). Do you guys tell the women in your lives that you're taking X or Y substances, though? It all depends on her, ultimately, to understand that testosterone and other...
PS: Sorry if you guys feel that I crashed your locker room party lol. I come in peace! My intent isn't to tear anyone down at all, but merely to address the fact that there might be more constructive ways to approach the frustration.
That's a dangerous misconception. We all have "egos" - but what is being displayed here is not that. Look up Freud's four elements of the psyche (some sources will identify three, but the fourth is the external world) and you will quickly learn that what you actually mean to reference is the id...
I hope this doesn't sound like a silly question, but have you seen your doctor or a specialist yet? Spinal injuries can be very serious things if they are not seen to properly, and your future self will be thankful for proper care now.
I'm very sorry to hear about your injury/setback. Hoping...
I am not a big "comic book" fan, but my fiancé is. We always take turns choosing movies to see, and he inevitably drags (sorry, introduces haha) me to the action-type or Superhero-type films. I normally drag (introduce) him to ones like Spotlight or Theory of Everything (both excellent movies of...
Due to our vastly superior basic education, we are actually capable of distinguishing communism from a free and democratic society. Shocker. :fyi:
Enjoy your cheese grits (without the health care you'll need when that junk leads you to a coronary)!
Ah, man! I crack me up!!
Agreed!!
I broke my fib/tib about 5 years ago. I have a titaniun rod through the whole length of my tib and a plate that goes from my ankle to about 1/3 of the way up my tib. Even though I'm fully recovered, I still can't do any kind of higher impact for any real length of time without feeling...
I hate doing my cardio, so I divide it into HIIT and steady state (and try to get reading done during it lol) just to keep it interesting. Good to know that the steady state may be equally effective!
Stampede's around the corner in Cowtown, though! Come up for that, and you'll get more pancakes and liquor than you can handle for breakfasts haha!
Also, the food gets stranger each year. These are a few items from last year...
^^ How to spot an American lol!
No grits in Canada. If I divert from my shake it is for high protein granola, with non-fat greek yogurt and fresh fruit. That is a pretty rare "if" though!
