Nerver had any experience using PTFE membranes but if you're filtering guaiacol PVDF is no good. I melted a filter before figuring this out when making TNE. Use a nylon membrane - the whatman zapcap-CR is what I use and have never had an issue.

Would it be safe to assume .9% BA would be a good level? With no BB what is the carrier you would recommend. Would that hold in just oil or would it need to be EO? Or is there another solvent other than BB you would recommend?

That's what delivering hands down the highest quality products available and doing it consistently will do for you. He also doesn't get caught up in the internet bullshit which allows him to remain rather low key. I've never met someone who has dealt with him on raws and switched sources.

Raws, always. Never spoken with anyone who's used his finished products but if my understanding is correct there is a domestic source using his raws to make them. Finished products shouldn't take more than a week to receive after funds are picked up.

Thanks Powderguy for chiming in, I thought you would have some good info. Is there an alternative to BA to use as a bacteriostat you'd recommend? What are your thoughts on the high concentration of BB? Anybody who's brewed with refined castor oil what type of filter membrane did you use?

Add in 5-10% guaiacol, it will lower the concentration unless you have some more powder to add but it should get the tren base into solution. Start out with 5% and add from there, its nasty shit but will get things into solution.

Not sure if you're referring to EO dissolving the membrane or the filter body. It did not dissolve the membrane for me, just the filter body. I have heard of EO dissolving certain membranes though.
