    Atkins Diet.........Perfect for bodybuilders??

No Cardio here! DP and SS, No cardio here. Haven't done it for like 6 years now. Dexter Jackson does no cardio. Neither does Darrem Charles. New Pro David Henry (he's got a forum over at muscle mayhem) also does no cardio. He's doing the Ironman in 7 days and will be (is) shredded as all...

    Body Opus Diet

For a natty, using T3 may not be a good idea. Some people (like Lyle McDonald, the most knowledgeable person on this subject, IMHO), that the drop in T3 on a ketogenic diet is a GOOD thing for holding on to muscle mass. Coupled with the other hormonal changes (low insulin specifically and high...

push ups as best chest excersise ever?

The reference that is being made here is to progressive overload and the nature of the resistance training stimulus that results in a hypertrophic adaptations. The essential aspect of resistance exercise that induces an increase in muscle size is the tensile (force) demand. Pushups provide...

    SuperClen

Oooh, I didn't know that IP had it in there... Ray, I don't think the ß-receptor downregulation played a role (yet) in Sweat's dilemma (although it certainly would be happening very quickly w/o the ketotifen there). Sweat just took a hell of a dose, the crazy bastard. Just imagine - with the...

Sissy squats, too. *Walking* lunges, if you have room Ditto on ray's suggested for step-ups. YOu can do seated calf-raises w/ the bar and some padding across your thighs. -Randy

    Atkins Diet.........Perfect for bodybuilders??

Atkins' diet is not at all optimal for those who exercise regularly. A bodyopus style Cyclical Ketogenic Diet, i.e. that includes periodic carb-ups is the way to go. -Randy

    homonunculus-question for you and others

SS, My pleasure. Just don't over do the negatives. The point is that they're an essential part of normal training, but not that eccentrics are the end-all-be-all. A few negative here and there can be a nice way to up the stimulus, but it can also be a nice way to overtrain... -Randy

4 Weeks in and not that impressed....

Hey Bigup, Good comments so far in this thread. The 200mg primo will be just enough to suppress your endogenous testosterone production but not enough to have an anabolic effect. Madmax suggested test. which is a good idea for the next go 'round. Also, in doing 50mg Winny EOD, you are not...

    Advanced Abs

Actually, it is possible to produce a motor pattern that stresses different segments of the rectus abdominus. You can see this when someone does a belly roll, e.g., like Chris Cormier does during some of his posing routines. The transverse inscriptions of the r. abdom. separate the segments of...
