Re: Re: Re: Re: Training on the road / in new gyms
If its a prison rape, then I'm the one doing the raping - pure agression, man. Not the cries of agony you hear.
And yes, I do have a mental defect. LOL Its a gift that I am thankful for every time I train legs... :puke:

I'd go to McDonald's and bet someone the cost of the meal I can eat 2 double quarter pound cheeseburgers, and 20 piece McNugget and a large shake in 10 minutes. If I couldn't, I'd buy an apple pie and get $20.00 back to pay the guy off.

Yep, yep. I also get the feeling that DC is very good at tweaking things for the individual (which is really what its all about).
Just an interesting comment - just like doctors make the worst patients, it seems that gifted trainers (like Skip!) aren't always able to see what is best for...
Mirrors everywhere now, but I've trained w/o 'em before. I always try to set the rack up so there's no if's and's or but's r.e. whether its racked. Just walk forward and drop it if need be. LOL.
I do like the mirrors b/c I use 'em for my "smoke n' mirrors" routine that makes my legs look big...
Re: Re: Training on the road / in new gyms
LOL. I think most of it is really b/c I train pretty damn hard. Covered up at the desk or when I'm warming up, I don't look like much at all. When I'm leaning out for a show and the sweat come off, then I look kinda <he, he> freaky. LOL
Yes, I...
Minor point - deads one week, then squats the next. Doing both in the same will be OK for the first of the two, but the second will suffer.
Partials are probably a better option if you're using the deads for back work. It remedies the possibility of "inadvertantly" training legs (e.g. if you...
I haven't used DC personally, but I have used his training methods (from what I've gathered on the net). His rep is ROCK SOLID.
I'd wish you good luck, Skip, but I dont' think you'll need it - just a whole lotta room for putting down protein and a whole lotta love of pain. ;^)

Water toxification will occur, but the circumstances have to be extreme: heavy, prolonged exercise with generally forced water intake. Sodium is lost in the sweat and not replaced in the fluids taken it.
Generally speaking, sweat has less sodium in it than the blood: if you lose a lot of...
Just a few thoughts (returning from a recent road trip) on the atmosphere of training in gyms other than your "home" gym. Ever walk into a gym and get:
-REALLY pissy women working the front desk?... Often attractive, it seems like they are so pissed at the male of the species for continuously...
If you go w/ Bally's, look in the local FS ads - someone is likely selling a membership. (What's that tell ya?... LOL)
I train in my home studio, a gym where I am a member (and used to train), another couple gyms (day passes), and could train in another studio where I train another trainer...
