Not many balance the pH.... just brew and cap.

Only use a digital pH meter, not paper (don't know if you did or not). You want to LOWER the pH, so you need to make it MORE acidic. Get some HCl. Put DROPS in it, stir well, re-test pH. It doesn't take much to lower it, especially if only 100mL. one drop at at time.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever had/seen clear winny.... the solution was slightly yellow very early in the heating process so I think it was the oil and carrier I used, Mig and EO... the powder was SLIGHLTY yellow/off-white to begin with too. Thanks.

I should add- if you didn't have pain at 500mg/mL, then it probably wasn't correct. 400mg/mL can have quite a sting if not pH balanced.

Carnitine should be crystal clear. Think about it like this, injectable Carnitor is often given to those on dialysis. It comes as: 1gm/5mL and clear. Carnitine is VERY hydrophilic... leave it sit on your counter for a day during the summer and it'll become a little mushy in some area's... or...

Resurrecting this post instead of making a new one: The main concern seems to be not wanting to crack the plastic media bottles. I have glass as well. The problem with a lot of pumps is they don't have a variable control which I would prefer. You can find them yes. It would also help...
