So after 6 hours lol, i was able to get about 90mls through the filter pictured up above. It got to a point where it literally just wouldnt drip at all and im pretty sure i may have even maxed the pressure out on the hand pump.
The filtered media came out literlly flawless, crystal clear. Theres...
I actually have really bad OCD so pretty much everything from the second I wake up until the second I go to bed. lol. I wouldn't even know where to start with awnsering this question lol.
Okay, thank you this was an excellent post. Cleared things up a lot for me.
Well, i'm running 100ml's through a nylon .22 Nalgene with glass media bottle because it was the only thing I bought because I was initially under the impression nylon was the way to go. So far it's going very well...
The nylon zapcap says its chemical resistant. Isnt that chem resistant what we want? Or no?

It jusy got here the mothet fucker doesnt have threads. You gotta be shitting me. It says its for 45mm glass, but it doesnt even screw on. Wtf
hmm, I literally just bought a few more nylon filters because I seemed to have read all over the web that was preferred.
I didn't quite understand the way you worded it. You said nylon and pes are out because of chemical resistance. What does that mean? That solvents will eat the filter?
If you havent already check out medlabsupply.com
Not sure what you mean by red color code? The only one thats red is the nylon nalgene, which is also the firet one i used.
I know this thread is super spastic but hopefully I can provide some information that can be helpful to someone new to brewing so they don't make the same mistakes as I did. I thought I had researched, but the bottletop was the area I researched the least, and I pretty much just picked a...
Does anyone know if the pore cup size really makes a difference in filter rate and/or quality? The bottletops come in different sizes like 150ml, 250ml, 500ml, and 1000ml. I originally thought like if you got a .22 micron pore filter the diameter of the filter would be all the same regardless of...
Just transferred the gear into my beaker and put some tin foil over top of it because I don't have any glass jars. I just placed an order for a glass media bottle, 2 new bottle tops and a few syringe filters. The filter size i'm using is .22. MEdlabsupply is pretty good so I should have it in 2...
In a calmer and more organized manner i'm going to specifically ask a few questions, because i'm trying to pin point how I fucked this filter up.
1) Recommended temperature when adding gear to a Nalgene Nylon .22 Filter
2) Roughly how long should one expect the filtering process to take for...
I'm not worried about the shit I have in this bottle, i'm mainly trying to prevent It from happening again. I just ordered up some new filters.
I don't have a vaccum gauge on my pump as I mentioned.. So can someone give me a way to tell if it's pressurized enough? Or make a recommendation on...
I guess considering I forced someone to awnser me, that was the awnser I got.
Definitely not rushing thing, I very much took my time. In the beaker it was perfectly clear. That actually seemed like the easiest of all the steps. ba/bb dissolved the hormone quite easy. then I added the oil and...
So I just tried, to make another batch. Test E 200mg/ml (100ml total)
3ba/15bb in GSO
I only bought two bottletops at first to see what I liked and to make sure things were okay. The first was the Nalgene nylon .22 which I used in the post up top. This time I used an AutoFill PES .22 compete...
