Thanks very much for the responses guys, very much appreciated. I did try Presser's advice and left a new batch of propionate in a 2%/10% solution overnight, covered it so as not to let any air get in to the vial and voila! Worked perfectly. Disolved and now added to my filtered oil and ready...
