I'd suggest it's the difference between me and a bodybuilder.
Example (I've done both BTW and even recently): I can, with loose form, hammer curl a 90kg/198lbs dumbbell. The most was 14 reps. My right upper arm is usually around 19-19.5-inches cold. I've done a bicep/tricep machine super set...
