was i wrong re:mgf?
mgf is produced through a genetic splice of the igf-i gene, not by splicing igf-i itself enzymatically. this is certainly why gh is so effective at building muscle mass. mgf is not a systemically circulating hormone but is instead locally(autocrine/paracrine) expressed...
anyone else experiencing this? i'm holding a shitload of water in a lot of places, particularly my face, running mc/genesis-brand igf-i at a very high dose, 120mcg/day. i look quite smooth even though i'm on letrozole right now.
good background on the sides of igf-i experienced in treatment...
random test taken 4 hours after 75g carbs without mc lr3igf-i: 82 mg/dl
taken 4 hours post-meal with 80mcg mc lr3igf-i shot & 2-hours post-workout without the usual post-workout shake: 67 mg/dl
taken upon waking, 20 hours after last lr3igf-i shot & 10 hours after last meal: 72 mg/dl
(somewhat)...
new studies suggest igf-i good for cutting
i'm a little surprised. i can't remember how this translates to the breakdown pathways activated during dieting though. i don't remember which ones are most responsible... if you guys are curious, let me know and i'll research it further...
normally i'm not one to complain about this sort of thing, but the prices MC's supplement store charges for letrozole are roughly half those of most of the other companies. i hate to look a gift horse in a mouth, but this makes me think.
is it another receptor/media grade thing or something?
the feedback loop whereby igf-i acts on gh production at the pituitary is a strange one. apparently each cell has its own on/off switch, so it's either all or nothing, *but* the point at which this switch varies widely from cell to cell.

there's been a lot of rumination on whether lr3igf-i is able to cause the gh gut so fashionable amongst pros today. i believe the science can lead us to categorically conclude "no", with two exceptions: concurrent use of GH, and oral use.
before we begin, note that rats are a terrible model...
