Esther Lin, MMA Fighting After earning a victory in her MMA debut, Bella Mir will have her sophomore bout in the books before 2020 comes to a close.
Promotional officials confirmed with MMA Fighting on Thursday that the 17-year-old daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir will face Alma Cespedes at iKON Fighting Federation 4. The event takes place Dec. 11 in San Carlos, Mexico and will stream on UFC Fight Pass.
Mir returns to action following her unanimous decision win over Danielle Wynn at October’s iKON FF 2 event. Although “Lady” was tested, she was able to use her outstanding wrestling pedigree to her advantage en route to the victory.
Cespedes will look for her first pro win in her first fight in over a year. The Mexican fighter has competed in both the strawweight and flyweight divisions, dropping both of her appearances via unanimous decision. Cespedes’ most recent bout took place for Combate Americas as she was defeated by Criszaida Adames in October 2019.
