So im starting to get to that point where i dont really gain much muscle anymore and im doing 6 reps with 6 sets of heavy weight.
What all do you guys use? Im looking for a new routine that takes about an hour or so and switch it up..feel free to share.
Thats what i was doing but in 6 sets with 6 reps..someone told me to try 12, 10, 8, 6, 12 12 per muscle group..like the EAS body challenge... any opinions on that?
Take like a month or 2 to do high reps and lower weight. I'd start at like 20 reps then drop to 18-16-14-12 then jump to a rest-pause on the last set. Just gotta do something to switch it up and keep the muscles guessing
So I did as recomended yesterday and I have to say its strange not to feel any muscle breakdown after, I feel like I didnt do shit at the gym the whole hour and a half I was there...Maybe I need to take a week off or something. Im stuck at my weight and not gaining any more muscle but my bf is getting lower....hmmm what the hell is going on? I thought my muscles were just adapting to my routines..
Well, if you're spending 1.5 hours in the gym maybe you can cut rest periods down and do more intense sets and focus more on the contraction of the muscle
Good call I did that today and felt the burn a little more, im doing 12, 10, 8, 6 then 12 x 2 with heavy weight i can barely lift that many reps. Felt good I might go before switching it up again
