I'm glad you got that settled, I know you had been thinking on this one for quite some time. You just have to find the best that suits you.
I had a long-standing membership at 24-hour bitchness that I had the VIP, so I could bring in a workout partner in anytime I wanted which was nice. My last true workout partner and I worked out there. I also had a membership at Bally because my boy is a personal trainer there and I got a great deal, plus they had a lot of classes that 24-hour didn't, so that's where my fiance' liked to go mostly. Also, most of my friends have their memberships there at Bally too, but I couldn't consider them true workout partners because they are all pretty flakey. My 24-hour workout partner moved to Santa Barbara so I dropped the 24-hour membership because I'd only go like 3x's a month. I'd usually go to ballys with my lady while she took a class, I'd go to the free weights.
You just got to find the one that's right for you, and as from what I mentionded above, it could all change. But it was nice having both memberships for a while, very convenient. (Not to mention the gym at out apt. complex made it easy when I was too tired to drive to the gym but needed to get my cardio in).
But on the eating plan you got, looks awesome. You will truely hit your stride in due time, seriously. Consistany is key, and most people you age lack that. You're leaps and bounds above your peers at this point. Plus you got this place to hit up, seems like you;re getting a lot out of it.
Great all around.
