I am getting ready to do my first cycle and have been told that Deca & D-bol would be good......with Deca have limited side effects. Not really looking for freaky gains, just somemore mass and quality muscle. (Hoping for 10-12 lbs of quality gains..after water retention goes away etc.)

I looking at 30mg of d-bol daily and 400-500 mg deca EW

Do I need to take the d-bol all the way thru or just for the first 4-5 weeks?

Does that sound about right? Any other suggestions? Also, whats the deal with creatine while on the cycle.....waste of time or is it still worth taking?

I'm not trying to bust your balls, but theres more to it than poppong a few dbol tabs and stabbin a needle in a few times.

And to answer your questions: I personally don't like dbol and deca only cycles. You won't keep much of the gains. Also, you should keep the dbol to 4-6 weeks. Need to add in things to protect your liver as well. Orals are hard on the liver and kidneys too. You didn't even mention how long your cycle was either.

IMO you are not quite ready, and that's not me trying to be a dick, I wish I had someone to help me when I first started.

Played football in college for 3 years, been lifting outside of sports for 3 years.

Now i lift 5 days a week, just having trouble gaining more strength. I want to be around 190-195 with 7-9% BF.

My diet is pretty clean, try to take in about 175-190 grams protien daily.....4 meals, 2 shakes.

Been researching gear for prob a year, and have heard every "experts" opinions. Seems form what i have learned that Deca is pretty clean, just not the best for huge gains, which is ok. Also know that the D-bol is good for strength, but it does retain alot of water, and you loose that strengh pretty quick when the cycle is over, and that it is pretty hard on the liver. Any recomendations of liver aids while on the cycle?

Cycle that i am considering will be for 10 weeks.
 
I have been researching for about 6 months, did the Methyls...I am ramping up for late summer to pin down a few things.The first thing anyone (especially the vets) is going to tell you is test should be your first AAS.
 
First thing you should do is up your protien intake to at least 300 daily.Then up it by at least 10 g. every week.I would stick with the test,d-bol cycle first.Milk thistle is good for the liver.Don't get crazy with the first cycle,you don't need to.Keep anti-e's on hand and don't forget pct.

deca and no test is NOT a good idea. One thing is deca will give you huge gains, unlike what you said. Your strength will be sky high. your joints will feel smooth. It's put alot of water on you. But it will also put some fat on you. It's worth it but not 100% of the deca gains will remain afterwards. I really think considering your stats test 500/Eq 500 will suit you well. Go ahead and kick start with dbol but I'm not a fan of it.
 
I have to disagree, deca will not give you huge gains, yes there is some water retention and it does help your joints. You put some test with it and the dbol. Those 3 together will give you very large gains. I would recomend test cyp. or test en. At least 500mg. a week. I don't see any piont in shutting down natural test production for any mg less. I would run deca at 400mg a week. And dbol, 30 to 40 a week. All no less then 8 weeks. Make sure you use clomid or hcg with this also. I would have some nolv or arimidex on hand just in case gyno starts to rear its ugly head. Some people get gyno very easy, others almost not at all. I my self have never had a problem with it. Although I've allways tried to keep my doses on every thing as low as possible and still get great results with minimal side affects. I've even seen newbies get good gains using just 250mg of test, although I wouldn't recomend it. And yes I think creatine is a good thing to have and use. Make sure that your constantly eating high protien meals and drinking your shakes often. Try and keep your carb intake to the morning time.

I hope thats a typo. Test and deca/eq can be run 12 wks or so for a beginner, but don't run the dbol anyMORE than 8wks, I would just do 6 my first run. Too much stress on the liver IMO.
 
Yes, all no less than 8 weeks. And yes you can run test and deca longer if desired. Yes again, I wouldn't run dbol more than 8 weeks. Hope that clears it up a little for ya.
 
I have read awesome things about Deca. More positive than negative I might add.

Isn't it true that Deca or any gear for that matter will not produce the same results for everyone?

The factors being Genetics, diet & proper training.
 
people believe different things, but for the most part people react differently to different chemicals yes. some people firmly believe they grow best on test cyp vs. test enanth , even though the only difference is the ester(which controls how fast the test gets into your system). some good advice is keep mixing it up, if you find something that works for you then use it.

slice... if you are going to consider deca -king of protein sythesis- you will need to double your current protein intake, even the insert that is included is very specific about the effects of deca being directly proportional to protein intake... there will be some water retention with deca but if you eat clean and eat a lot you can get good gains... remember deca is rough on your HPTA so if you are going to run deca for more than 8 wks you need to include HCG and expect to have 4-7 days of Deca-dick when you come off, well unless you're running enough test to couteract it... personally i would never use deca without test.

i am personally opposed to 17AA, so i have nothing positive to offer on your decision to use d-bol... expect high estrogen levels and a lot of bloat.

why not consider enanth. or sust stacked with the deca ? and if you really want maybe a bit of d-bol to kickstart your cycle.

i hope this post doesn't come across as me trashing deca or d-bol, both have their place and their benefits... just finished 10 weeks of deca myself, but these are just some things a first timer should think through when deciding on a cycle.

Man.....i really appreciate all the info from this sight. The more i research the more confusing this shit gets......no really this sight is a must for anyone getting ready to cycle some gear or even cycle some prohormones for that matter. Thanks for all the input!!
