Guys,
I love to eat them and I have followed several ways of cooking them but after a day or so, I can never peel them without screwing-up the egg. It's the most frustrating thing. I have added vinegar and allowed them to cool but nothing works. I have tried changing brands. Maybe it's my well water.
Any suggestions on how to cook these so they peel better??

sometimes they peel great and other times tear the egg all up. I dont do anything different. When you find out the secret let me know !!LOL
(its very frustrating)

Here's how I cook them. Put the eggs in the pot and fill with room temperature water. Bring to a rolling boil. Let it boil for 5 minutes, then turn the stove off and let it cool down slowly. When the water is back to room temp I peel each egg under cold running water. Also, there is always an air bubble at one end of the end after boiling it so I usually pop it on the counter on each end and start where the air bubble is. It makes it easier to get under the middle 'film' when you're peeling it. I hardly ever have problems when using this method.

Another method that looks interesting, although I've never personally tried, can be found on youtube. Just search for Sprintcuts: Quick-Peel an Egg. Youtube is blocked from work so I can't post it for you, but it shouldn't be hard to find.

i always thought it had to do with the cooking time.... my one friend said to add a bit of oil to the water, and i tried it and it just seperates, lol

fresh from the chicken eggs always peel like shit but all store bought boils down 2 cook time the longer u cook them the harder 2 peel

This is what I was talking about.

I've never had a problem. I don't really do anything specific, just throw them in a pot, boil and peal. It's like peeling an orange to me, sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's a little rough, I can deal with that

How easy they are to peel depends on how old they are. The older, the easier to peel.

If I am going to make hard-boiled eggs, I always look for the oldest eggs.

Never heard that and do u mean older egged before u boil them or boil them then let em age to peel easy?

Presser, looks like you been working those glutes, never looked better!! lol
I whish my wife blew like that guy!!
Seriously, I think my problem is sometimes I cook a bunch and peel some the next day. Mabey I should peel (or blow) all at once

They older they are to start with the easier they are to peel. If they've been sitting in the fridge for a few weeks before I cook them is best.
