man if i could sleep through the night even a few staight hours it would be well worth it, how do you go about it? I mean what kind of doctor would i need to get the ball rolling

I have an EPO so I just called my insurance and asked for the closest covered Sleep Study place and made an Appt. I was in about 1 week later for the study. The first study SUCKED! I couldnt sleep for shit. It's like a shitty hotel room with cameras all over the place and they cover you in electrodes covered in a glue like paste.

Yeah I know you can just buy them, but there are still a few settings that have to be adjusted, but I think it's just the flow of air so it would be pretty easy. I don't think they're too expensive. I want to say I remember seeing some for $500 or so. You just have to get a mask that fits that you like.

My setup was 600$ which included my insurance amout allowed for medical
Devices.. Some insurance companies will not let you buy without dr prescription . That's what I has to do to get insurance to pay the 80% ..call insuance co. And ask what your policy is for cpap machine. .. Without insurance mine was around 1300-1500$ for insuance ripoffs . eBay has many for sale too..

It would be cheaper, but it's not their money. The prison system (federally) is like any other government agency in that they launder money to an extreme extent. They meet their budget every year and it's nothing to them to hand these out since in the long run it's not their money their wasting.
