Officially out of weights. Been looking for some on craigslist but no go so far.

Its like literally almost a dollar/lb around here.

Pawn shops play it agin sports even good will have weights sometimes garage sales

There are some decent prices near me but that will probably not do you any good. Check out offerup and letgo apps for local weights for sale.

Where are you located? I know of 2 guys just west of Philly who who almost always have O weights, used.

use wheels off trucks, tractors. could try cinder blocks, older ones use to weigh in about 60 lbs each. put straps on dumbbells or what ever else you can find that's heavy and hang it on the bar. do some brainstorming, sure you can come up with a few other ideas. i have used old rims myself on occasions back in the day. so there are alternatives if you think about it.

Yeah I have been trying combinations of the above. I think my best best is by a good set of bands and also use this huge chain that I have.

When I was in high school the school wouldn't buy us anymore weights so I told coach that at home . I went the salvage yard the rollers from bulldozers and all kinds of heavy stuff and they just laugh and give them to me. So we went and got a haul wound up being 1000lbs of assorted parts
We weighed them all and stamped the weight on them. My be hillbilly but it worked. We built baskets to throw them in some had holes where you could use a bar

That works, but the thing is I need to be practicing good form and the oddball stuff or things that swing throw the lift way off. I am to close to the meet to really do that on a regular basis. I will just have to bite the bullet and get new stuff.

Ordered a pair of 60lb bands for a total of 120. Never used band training before and I am wondering how far it will take me.

I am also using pause lifts with 60-80% 1RM. Maximum of a 15 sec pause , usually in conventional style. I pull hybrid.
