Hey,
New to the forum, been reading it for a while, always good advise. I'm 50 years old 5'11, 200 lbs . 15% b. Blood work showed tt-448 on a 348-1197 scale, ft 8.7 on a 6.8-21.5 scale. estradiol 14.0 on a 7.6-42.6 scale. All other blood work results are great. Had all symptoms of low t, Doc orders labs, says no worries. You do not need trt. I decided to call a trt clinic. The go over the results and BAM, 210 mg of test c 1x a week, hcg 250 2x a week, Anastrozole 1 x a week. I understand that everyone is a bit different. Does this sound like a good program. Would any of you more experienced members have any idea as to how high/low my levels could go? I have been athletic all my life, been seriously lifting for the past 6 years. Should this eliminate symptoms, and help add lean muscle.
Thank you all in advance, Please have mercy, first post.

Welcome and yes that's a dosage you'll feel much better on! 200mg a week is super solid especially human grade

Once I got on my TRT, within a few weeks I felt like a new man. More energy and felt great. You will notice the results in week or so. Welcome to MC!

Welcome aboard. That dose is correct and should put you close to the top of the range. I like to split my doses into .5cc shots a 2 times week. With TRT you are looking for the least amount of peaks and valleys. Really monitor your Estrogen levels, if they get out of wack it is not fun at all. You may need to adjust your anti estrogen Anastrozole accordingly. Your test will tell the tail, have fun and enjoy the new ride....................dieting and bulking is about to get much much easier.

I've been on that trt program for 2 weeks. Thanks for the replies. I hope I have some better questions as I learn more.

Welcome to MC.
Yellow snow always nails how to say things to the point.
I do same I take Monday and Thursday get stable levels no peaks and troughs.
I hit 1000 at 100 a week. I was on just 150 a week but was at 1400 tt. So lowered to 100. Thats me though. Top of range will make it feel the best u should be good.

Everybody's different. Mechanic says 150 mg a week puts him at 1400; it takes 180 a week for me to get to 1400. You may find that you have to experiment with your dose to find what feels and works best for you. I have found that to be true. Don't be afraid to adjust the dose down a little bit if things aren't working for you. It's counter intuitive, but sometimes is what I need.

And BTW, I had the same experience: not just one doctor, either, but several tell me I didn't need TRT, my test level wasn't low. Mine was very close to yours and I also had all the symptoms. Many of them, anyway. It has become very clear to me that most doctors, including an endocrinologist I saw, who should have been the most knowledgeable, don't have a clue about hormones.

Stick around, ask questions, etc. Learn all you can and be your own advocate. That's my best advice based on my experience. And you'll find a lot of very knowledgeable guys who are very willing to help and share their experience here. Welcome aboard, as said above.

Also, all good advice given in all posts above.

Welcome to MuscleChemistry. Congratulations on cutting out the b.s. doctors much quicker than I did. I guess they (doctors) worth while if they can see a broken bone on an xray other than that it's a crap shoot.
