O/T: Americans

A Strongman buddy of mine posted this..I read it, and I actually found it to be a very good read, and made me rethink some of the ways I personally handle things.

Just figured I'd share this with you guys, might make you see things from a slightly different angle, which isn't always a bad thing

"We mistake comfort for happiness." That is profound. I think this generation thinks that we (people/human beings) were put here to be happy instead of realizing that we were put here to work with what we have (talents, goals, interests, strengths, ect...) and through accomplishments we make in them "get" our happiness.

I mean honestly it's way more "fun" to get an A in a class you studies your ass off for all semester or finally squat 600 lbs (working accomplishments that gives happiness) then it is to watch movies all day (seeking simply happiness).
