1/2 cup liquid egg substitute

1 large sweet yellow onion, cut into rings
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs, plain or seasoned
salt and pepper to taste
Method
Mix egg substitute, salt and pepper.
Dip onion rings into egg mixture and then coat with breadcrumbs.
Place in a single layer on a greased baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes at 450*, 220*c, gas mark 6.
