Before you know someone or what they have done in their life don't judge them. Proper procedure for take down? Really? You know nothing about me or anyone else on this site. TBH ive never seen a suppressor actually 'silence' a firearm. Ive seen em change the report, but not fully silence it. some weapons with
blowback-type actions may lock open; regardless if it chambers another round or not, regardless of whether you can silence the report of the weapon system, the action/slide/charging handle will make a reasonably recognizable sound, especially to ppl who have experience. Now im sure there are exceptions out here, but how often are we running into ppl with blackside variety top of the line suppressors? another fun fact, most tactical units including SWAT teams can utilize suppressors since a 5.56 round being fired indoors is CONSIDERABLY louder than outside. Its enough to damage your hearing. and if youre temporarily deafened it might impede with the search for an intruder. Advice? suppressed weapon youre comfortable with in the bedroom, shotgun in the garage, pistol under the kitchen sink. 3 common places for you to unexpectedly run into a stranger.
