Yes just edit the pics and resize them, I do around 300-400 pixs and it works fine and loads fast. My reg size pics are around 2000 and up pixs they will never load on here hence the resize. The drop down list when you are uploading them has the size limitations next to whatever format you are using jpeg etc I believe.
