WHATS UR THOUGHTS ON CHIROPRACTERS

They did me alot of good. I have fused disks and bone spurs in my neck from playing ball so I had to go to one for about 6 months. Only thing is you have to always go back..My insurance said they would drop me if I continued to go as much as I was. I was going 2xs a week bc of the pain being so bad.  If I had insurance I would go back but I cant afford 130 dolla's a pop. I know alot of people are weary of em bc some had faked xrays to some patients somewhere a time ago. If you know of a good one that you can trust I would go bc they can help from my experiences and my families too. ltr,
RT :)

If you can afford it I think its a good thing. Sometimes i think they act like they need to see you a little more often then neccesary $$$ if you know what i mean.

i  have slight scoliosis and my chiropractor helped a bit with the pain from working out a few years ago.  however, he told me to "think straight" and it may help out!!  i was like what the hell...

I seen one in high school during wrestling season. All he did was make things worse than they were to begin with. I have never went to see one since. I am sure there are good ones out there, but i just don't trust them. Especially now with all my current spinal problems. I see an orthopedist and a neurologist instead. Later

I go 1 or 2 times a month just to keep things in-line.
If I dont, I end up needing to go just to fix my back.

I put my back out once and went to one....i had to go back to him a few times but it was like a miracle....i could hardley walk because of the pain when i went there and when i left i felt great...after a couple more visits i was like new and havent had a problem since

I always thought they were pretty much quacks...until I had my back fucking lock-up on me.  I couln't move without serious pain all up and down.  My wife (gf at the time) recommended this guy so I tried him.  It was amazing.  After 5-6 treatments--no more back pain.  I would still recommend caution to anyone considering going, but I'm a believer in the  benefits from using a good one.

I'm w/ Bstrong. I thought they were quacks. Last year my back started to really tighten up down lower and got very stiff and sore. I let this go on for like 3 months. Finally I gave in and figured I give the Chiro a shot. He popped my back and bent me like a pretzel, but walking out of there the stiffnes was gone and about 2-3 days later I was pain free in my back for the first time in 3 months.

I go about once every 3 months to let him adjust it. What a relief it is after it's done.

yes the chiro is pretty good.  but they do want you to keep coming back.  one problem though, he does the same adjustment to me all of the time.  i thought this was what i needed.  when i took my girl to him and he did the same exact adjustment, i became a little sceptical.

My ex brother-in-law is a chiro.  Steer clear of chiro's that talk about curing allergies, bed wetting, etc.  It doesn't happen, and it won't.  I'm still allergic to my urine when I pee-pee in my bed.

I would stick with the sports rehabilitation chiro's.  The one's who concentrate soley on muscle - skeletal relationship.

And yes, most think you have to come in weekly for half a year to see any benefits - but I'm telling you that's crap.  They need you to come in to pay for their new BMW or MB.

To me its like when you dislocate a knee or shoulder it is something like 60% easier to do it again.  If you go to a chiropracter and he crunches ya 3 times a week its going to make it easier for those joints to pinch or slip out of place like they where in the first place so its not worth it IMO inless you have some killer debilitating pain.  I have been a few times and it seems once they start they want to see ya 3 times a week for the rest of your life.  Thats A MIN of $60 for a 2 min visit and it adds up...

One of my old college buddies recently got kicked around for a good minute by four dudes.  Those of you that don't know...a lot of damage can be done in a minute by four dudes.

So he was f*cked up, brain started bleeding and his nose was busted to hell...once all started to get better his back was really starting to hurt him.

He went to a chiroganster and he said that he's never seen a back quit this messed up before in his life...so my buddy thought he was really in shits creek again.  The Chiro-g said he had at least five slipped disks and pinced nerves, some shit with his vertibrate.

Well, he freaked out went to doc and got a MRI it came back with only 2 slipped disc nothing a month or so of therapy couldn't take care of.  The chiroganster told at least a year therapy...so take it for what it is worth!!!
