@UFCFightPass, Twitter In his second pro bout, Roland Dunlap made a huge impact. Literally.
“The Dream” scored an early highlight on the LFA 104 preliminaries Friday in Shawnee, Okla., scooping up opponent Obinwa Ikebunna and nearly slamming him through the mat in an emphatic stop to their middleweight contest.
Watch the highlight-reel slam above.
Late in the opening round, Dunlap changed levels and secured his hands around Ikebunna’s hips to lift him into the air. Dunlap’s head then appeared to land right onto Ikebunna’s as the two fighters collided with the canvas, instantly turning Ikebunna’s lights off. A trio of follow-up elbows just sealed the deal. The official time of the stoppage was 4:19 into round one.
With the win, Dunlap is now 2-0 as a pro following a 6-1 career as an amateur (per Tapology). Ikebunna sees his record fall to 2-2.
LFA 104 is available to watch on UFC Fight Pass.
