Volkov (31-8) has won three of his past five fights. In his last trip to the Octagon he lost via unanimous decision to Curtis Blaydes at UFC on ESPN 11 this past June. The former Bellator heavyweight champ needs to get past Harris to keep alive his hopes of winning another title.
Harris (13-8, 1 no-contest) is 3-1 with one no-contest over his past five fights. He lost via second-round TKO to Alistair Overeem in his last UFC fight this past May at UFC on ESPN 8. The fight against Volkov is a chance to reset for “The Big Ticket” after he took the Overeem bout in the wake of a personal tragedy with the tragic murder of his stepdaughter, Aniah Blanchard.
