Just a few pics

It helps cause the scale will lie to you. For me the scale wasn't moving. But I knew I was bigger clothes fit different hell I just felt bigger. Started relying more on measurements than the scale. Come to find out I was growing as fast as the fat was falling off. It really helped the mental aspect

I don't normally rely on the scale. I just check it every once in a while. But I mainly go on the clothes I wear, and how they fit. I'll try to get some measurements soon.

You big mother #%#%!%. Are you doing shoulder press of any kind

Yea, was feeling really good and strong, and jumped on the smith machine. One plate, easy. Two plates, still good. three plates got for 9 then felt a little pull in the shoulder. So stopped there.

I'm not say their isn't a place for pressing movements but after some studying I have been doing. My pressing movement will be my last movement on shoulder day so that a lighter weight feels heavy. Just a thought would hate to see you go down again brother

It was my third exercise, and I was feeling good. I just hope I didn't hurt something again. I'll take it easy for a few days and see how I feel. But I'll take your advice and keep my presses lighter from now on.

My shoulder is still hurting. My right one.
I did side raises front raises upright rows then shoulder presses last with shrugs superset.
I used very light weights at first with raises and for them feeling good and warmed up.
Healing more skipped legs yesterday and arms today to give more rest doing them this weekend.
Using lidocaine aspercream at night helping alot.

What made me rethink pressing for shoulders was the dr that reconnected My Tricep tendon. Told me that the growth benefit from doing shoulder press was worth the possibility of getting hurt when their is clearly better exercise such as laterals

What is funny is my shoulder hurts in front muscle and rear. It hurts from rear into tricep. It hurts doing lateral raises and curls. It hurts on flat bench press but not incline or shoulder press. I use machine loaded or smith cause getting dumbbells into position hurts like a mother

Ya we all have to adjust to what works better but for me I only felt the press in my front Delts anyway. I know we watch these monsters in videos doing pressing movement after pressing movement. Becareful and remember it's a marathon not a sprint.

I used to do a lot of shoulder presses! Got to the point though where it seemed like I was getting enough front delt work from my chest workout. I might throw in a couple sets here & there. I rely on pull-ups for rear delts. It's the side delts that seem not to get hit as much from my heavier lifts. I do a couple sets of laterals every other chest workout. Front raises shoot a pain through the back of my shoulder bad! Same with curls

Btw Leatherhead, you have some impressive side delts!

I do incline loaded plate chest press every shoulder workout. I adjust seat a little low. Plows shoulders. And my shoulder and chest workouts are 3 days apart.
My shoulder have shrunk from always having one or other inflamed.
I have no trouble giving them a workout it's that the joint has issues that are catching up with me

Yeah, that's rough man. Injuries suck. I started doing rotator warm-ups with a cable & started taking glucosamine with my fish oil. Hope it get's better buddy

I have lived on joint triple strength and fish oil. Lol!
For years and years a decade or more.
When times have been rough they are build before protein and other supplements. Seriously lol!
