How much do you pay for the gym ?

Just curious how much you guys pay to go to the gym ??


I went to sign up at a gym in my town today( a small town with only two gyms ) and they said its 60 dollars a month and another 75 dollars just for registration fee.
I dont know how long i am going to be here cause im looking for a job elsewhere so id have to pay for it monthly . Dont you think that that is absolutely ridiculous ???? 135 A MONTH ??

How much do you guys pay ??
 
$29 / Month, It's a small gym owned by a local guy in our city. Love it. Very little people go there and he has TONS of equipment. I've never had to wait for a machine, bench, or set of dumbells in the time I've been there.

No contracts to sign, I pay cash each month or in blocks of 3-4 months if I want.
 
I pay $19.
sorry that doesnt help, ask about a special or find somone who works out there and do an add on to thiers its always cheaper.
I think the registration fee might be just one timeand the monthly fee seems high.
dont tell them its short term but dont do contracts either.
 
$18.00/month and no signing fee's

I think its much easier to get away with those crazy prcies in a small town, that price would never work where i live there are gyms on every corner
 
I pay 45 a month not to bad for all the hammer strength and other great shit there.........I would ssay average if you check around it's 40-50 a month.
 
FREE-gold's gym. i know the owner well and used to work there.
 
I win!!! (well besides flexmasters homie hook-up) $6 a month...no joke. Been a member for 7 years, joined when it was cheap and pure fitness was just entering the phoenix market, now their everywhere here. I'll never cancel at that rate.
 
zero per month for me........im a restaraunt manager and made a deal w/ the sales manager........i put up his little 2 week free pass advertisement box in my restaraunt in exchange for free use of the gym. For customers though they are running a special where its 99 dollars down and 25 per month for a month to month w/ no contract.........thats a pretty good deal around here.
 
$19 per month
most gyms should be starting some holiday dicounts soon. ask if the gym you are looking at will be haveing any deals soon
 
$40 for one and $30 for the other. I travel a lot so I like to have options.

Screw those sign up fees, make them wave em, and bump blacktail, the holiday specials should be starting soon.
 
I pay 26.00/month at my gym which is run by Utah Parks & Rec. so I'm not locked into any contract--I pay month to month. That fee covers use of the entire facility.
 
i was at 7 dollars a year until "moores fitness" if you have ever heard of it, sold out to fitworks.....now they want me to pay 200 dollars down and 43 dollars a month when my contract is up.......i was at 'moores fitness' for 5 years though.......that why so cheap.......crazy but true 7 dollars a year
