Hay folks im getting a bit down here with my progress can someone help. ive just changed my routine it looks like this


mon chest and tri's

wed back and shoulders

fri biceps and sometimes legs

tue and thur are 30 mins of cadio as im trying to lose these love handles

im at work and my diet looks like this

morn roast beef with veg and few baby potatoes

morn snack ham sandwhich

dinner roast chicken and pasta

afternoon bowl of tuna

after training 5 boiled eggs with 2 slices of wholemeal bread

usually it would be progain after the workout at night but forgot it and im off shore.

any help with where im going wronge would be great:confused:
 
What are your goals, are you trying to lose love handles or gain muscle?

try to do that cardio immediately after workin out like 5 days a week and ur love handles will evaporate much faster, in fact doing only 30 mins twice a week is a waste of time if u are looking for a difference u can see. If u are trying to gain muscle, dont waste 2 days in the gym only doing cardio, add it in after u lift.

u need more food to gain muscle, need to see some shakes in between meals

I would decide if you want to bulk or cut. If you want to bulk I would change it to a 4 or 5 day split, drop the cardio (or if you really need it do it once or twice a week in the AM), and like AZ1 said add some shakes for more protein and cals.
 
I definatly want to get as big and strong as possible but ive been training for a while bulking up eating like a pig and i dont even look like i work out so i thought at least if i had a six pack instead of a big layer of fat round my gut it could justify all the hard hours ive put in the gym, its very hard to stay motivated when everbody you train with grows bigger and stronger and the only time i do is when im on the juice. One thing ive kind of put it down to is the amount of stress ive been under im just kind of getting over it now with some thearapy.
 
how old are you? weight?
i have a hard time gaining size as well. i droped the cardio and it has helped. if i slack off just one day from eating right, i notice it a few days latter! make sure you eat your ass of and work out hard and you will see results. remember that all good things take time!!
 
right now im 81kg been doin a lot of cardi and cut out all the crap food 5´'7 tall pretty stockey thought i would have the makings of dexter jackson but unfortunatley not. im just in the prosess of changing my routine to the one dogcrapp suggestes so hopefully see some changes soon
 
it might be as simple as switching up your routine a bit. you could just be in a rut.just move some stuff around. it doesn't really matter what you change, just as long as it gives your muscles and nervous system something new to deal with.
