The FINAL word on True Life and steroids causing death...

The show seriously changed my views on steroids causing people's deaths. Seriously. I am now a firm believer that steroids can and may cause death. Here's how I figure...

After seeing that show, I want to kill the gay guy who wanted the club body. So, had he have never taken steroids, I'd never even know about him and therefor, never want to have him dead. Directly or indirectly, steoids may have caused this kids death, lmao.

For real, the one thing about the show that I couldn't stand is how everyone except for the fighter got 'addicted' to steroids. Steroids AREN'T addictive. There is no phisical or mental addiction and you certainly don't go thru withdrawals. If those fuckheads want to know addiction, lets have them on say, 150mgs methadone ED for a year. Lets see if the picture is still painted the same. That shit burned me up.

I've never heard of anyone loosing their job because they had to go shoot their steroids. I've never heard of any car sterios being stolen because someone needed to get that next cycle.

As far as the kid who did actaully kill himself, the SC ball player. Okay, you say if he never did steroids, he'd have never killed himself. Okay, lets look at it like, if he would have never taken steroids, he'd have never gotten to SC. He's have played for some community college and never gotten anywhere and became a mechanic. Okay, if your life is not worth living because you are a fizzled-out ballplayer for SC that still has a glimmer of hope, then your life aint worth living as some paycheck to paycheck mechanic who will have known he never had a shot. (no offense you mechanics) Maybe those steroids gave those parents a few more years, who are they to say?

Everyone makes their choices and knows the consequences doing so.
This is no surprise, but you had three guys that couldn't have an intelligent conversation on AS use if their body depended on it.
This ignorance and stupidity is what drives people thinks AS is the root of all evil.

I agree with both of you but it sounds to me that the baseball player had previous mental problems and thats what sent him over the edge. And its funny how only one guy on their talked about his diet and what he ate. From what I remeber none of them talked about anti e's or anything. I mean when they do a show on cocaine or weed people are just like oh well they're on drugs. But then theres a show on roids people shit their pants and can't beleive someone would inject something in their body that actually helps them.

i think it pissed a lot of us off but think about the guy who lost to the MMA fighter who is at home watching this and finds out the guy who beat him was on a cycle... that guy was the biggest dick head and I think there's even a shot of them at a restaurant and he has a glass of wine in front of him, so he can't handle all of the hard training without AS but he can drink and eat like shit. The gay guy was mentally and emotionally challenged from the start and no matter how big he got he'd still be fucked up and I can't wait for Jay to kill him. At least the model was seeking "professional" help

funny you should say that bro, when I was a kid my sister "accidentally" blasted me in the head with a 2 x 4 and sent me to the hospital for the night. when I came home the next day my family gave me small gifts as a welcome home. The next day she ate an entire bottle of Flintstone Vitamins and then sat on the couch and said, "Ok now I'm sick, where are my presents?!?!?!" My mom almost lost it when she figured out what she did and called posion control... she saw on Sesame Street that if you take pills or vitamins it will make you sick... you can figure out the rest. It's a pretty funny story now but back then it freaked my poor Mom out because my sister was awake and jittery for 2 days straight.

I took steroids and after a few weeks I stubbed my toe. Fuckin steroids made me do it and I'm going to expose them.

That show was bullshit. The mom of the guy that passed was just as much an uneducated fool as the gay guy. I truly feel sorry for her loss, but find some other way to get closure.

I wish steroids were excepted to use, because oh, man!! I was on them for awhile from my doctor...and I didn't sleep. I stayed up all night and got all my studying done over night. ---The really sucky thing?!?! I wasn't allowed to lift. Man...that would have been a brilliant workout too!

There's a part where the gay dude goes to the club and there is this huge guy on stage dancing with his shirt off and he says something like "I'm gonna' look like that in a few weeks." WTF? "In a few weeks?" Dude had already taken over 5 cycles and he didn't even look like he worked out. What a tool! :laugh:
