Techniques for reducing stress?

What are your techniques for reducing stress without drinking alcohol or taking a drug? I'm looking to control the extra stress in my life.
 
if u have a women put time in her hint hint youl be stress free for a bit but really hit the gym hard i always leave my bullshit at the front of the door at the gym and concentrate on my workout . im so tired after words i havnt got the enrgy to feel stress good luck bro
 
I'm going through this right now myself. Work is killing me at the moment because we're in pre-production on a television commercial. That and of course the impending birth of my first child is just a little stressful!
 
A punching bag might be just the ticket. My house will be finished in about another month so I could put one down in the basement.

Mike, you're probably under more stress than I am, and just wait until your child is born. A few sleepless nights in a row can really do you in. :)
 
Sry to hear about it guys...but stress is becoming more and more a part of our everyday lives. School started up again and I'm already behind...aaaahhhhhh...I've started running and biking a lot more and am thinking about training for an adventure race, not a long one mind you, but an 18 hour limit...I think it's 50-70 miles. That has helped a lot these past few days and I think it'll help me cut for the summer. And if that doesn't work to relieve stress I just rub one out...that always works.
 
hey bro if your like me and hate traffic put a racket ball in your car and sqeeze the fuck out of it golf balls work to just aint as boyent.
 
I'm on anti-anxiety/panic meds so I can't comment but try a sauna or hot tub if you have access to one. Listen to music that you like. Devote at least 15-20 mins a day to yourself to meditate, relax, or try some breathing techniques. I should follow my own advice. lol.
