lower back injury

fuck i am pissed lower back is strained like a mf. went to do squats couldnt get 225 without irritateing my back maybe i need to go to the bone cracker never been, and been lifting for about 14 years without a break. not anything over 2 weeks anyway. dont know starting to piss me off though. even stretch out for 10 miutes and do a set of hyper ext. doesnt help.dont know what to do. feel like it isnt a real leg work out without squats.
 
I strained mine a few weeks back and I have to be real careful. Mine was lower back as well and I strained it doing jumping drills then the next day did something called a congdon locomotive and felt it tweak. It sucked. I got some celebrex and within about 5 or 6 days it got better. Celebrex is safe by the way. Everyone kept asking me if I was trying to kill myself.

no havnt tried any of thar what is a foam roller and bio freeze will try anything to get back to norm.
 
hot pads and ice packs brother. You'll be good to go in no time
 
my lower back used to hurt when lifting...started going to the chiro and it went away.

now its back (and I still go to the chiro regularly) and I know its from the lower back pumping up. Goes away after about 15 minutes of my workout, obviously from the pump dissapating.

Ive started a couple of leg stretches and finishing my workout with weighted ab exercises helps it as well. A good lifting belt helps and I dont do free squats anymore.
 
I've had back strain like that before, and the only thing that helped it go away was to lay off the heavy exercise for a couple of weeks. We all want to work through stuff like that, but it can be detrimental in the long run.
