With Landon Quinones testing positive for COVID-19, Shaheen Santana will now face fellow unbeaten fighter Natan Levy at DWCS Season 4: Week 9 on Tuesday night, UFC officials announced Monday morning. The event takes place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas and will stream on ESPN+.
The new booking will take place at a catchweight of 160 pounds.
Santana (6-0) has finished five of his six professional victories as he is knocking on the door for a UFC contract. “Shazam” last competed in July and picked up a first-round submission win Global Legion FC 14 in Florida. The MMA Masters standout has competed for Titan FC on two different occasions.
Levy (5-0) was scheduled to compete at LFA 95 on Nov. 20 but will now have his opportunity to compete in front of Dana White and the UFC matchmakers. In his most recent bout, the 29-year-old earned a majority decision win over Ben Lugo at August’s LFA 88 event.
DWCS Season 4: Week 9 will be headlined by a middleweight matchup between Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz and Mario Sousa.
