[h=3]Errol Spence Jr vs Danny Garcia[/h] Round 1: Garcia comes out quick to center ring but Spence takes the aggressive stance and starts pressing Garcia. Jab from Spence falls short. Spence jabs to the body, then jabs upstairs. Spence tries to jab to the body twice more. Right hand lands downstairs for Garcia. Left hook to the body falls short for Garcia. Left hook from Spence makes partial contact. Double right hand comes from Garcia. Both fighters trade at center ring and land a shot. Left hand to the body doesn’t land clean for Spence. Garcia tries a counter right. Spence lands a straight left to the body. Spence jabs and lands to the body. Garcia tries his own body shot. Garcia gets in a right hand upstairs. Garcia slips a jab upstairs from Spence. I think Spence edged the first round. Spence 10-9.
Round 2: Garcia misses a jab upstairs Spence presses Garcia to the ropes and misses on a jab. Now Spences backs Garcia up again but can’t line up the shot he wants as Garcia slips out. Right hand from Garcia gets blocked. Spence comes forward again and Garcia throws a right hook to the body. Spence tries a jab upstairs but doesn’t land it clean. Straight left lands to the chest for Spence. Jab and left hand comes from Spence, Garcia tries to counter but can’t land it. Garcia jabs and then tries to time a big right hook that misses upstairs. Another right hook from Garcia misses. Spence tries a left hook himself that doesn’t land. Double right hand comes from Garcia. Close round. I’m going with Garcia in this round. Garcia 10-9, 19-19.
Round 3: Spence jabs as he comes forward. Spence jabs to the body and lands. Right and left hooks come from Garcia but don’t land clean. Now Garcia trips overs Spence’s foot and falls to the canvas. Garica throws a combination that doesn’t land but keeps Spence’s hands on defense. Hard left hand lands for Spence and knocks Garcia back. Left hook lands to the body for Spence, then one upstairs moments later. Garcia lands a right hand to the body, then another and a hook to end it. Spence comes forward again and lands a jab. Right lands downstairs for Garcia, Spence lands a jab and a body shot. Spence throws hooks as Garcia bends over and covers up, waiting for a break. Both fighters are trying to land some power. Spence 10-9.
Round 4: Garcia leads with a jab but Spence starts stalking aggressively. Big left hook misses for Garcia. Straight left lands to the body lands for Spence. Spence lands a jab and then a hook to the body. Jab lands over the top for Spence. Jab lands again for Spence, Garcia ties up. Left to the body lands for Garcia, then a right hand. SPence comes forward and lands a jab to the body. Spence throws a combination and lands a left hand upstairs. Right to the body lands for Garcia. Garcia doubles the right hand. Garcia tries a double right hand again. Counter right hand lands upstairs for Garcia, Spence comes back but misses. Straight right lands to the body lands for Garcia. Garcia started coming on late in the round but I think Spence took it. Spence 10-9, 39-37.
Round 5: Spence comes out pressing and works his jab. Garcia throws a combination that doesn’t land well. Spence lands a body shot on the inside. Garcia throws several right hands in a row and lands a couple. Jab lands to the body for Spence. Hard shot lands for Spence this time. Spence digs to the body with two hooks. Garcia starts working his jab and throws a right hook to the body. Straight right hand lands for Garcia upstairs. Spence eats two body shots fro Garcia. Spence lands a straight left to the head this time. Spence lands a jab and Garcia lands a glancing right hook upstairs. Garcia jabs and steps to the side. Spence throws a combination with Garcia along the ropes. Right hand lead lands for Garcia. Garcia 10-9.
Round 6: Spence comes forward and lands a jab upstairs. Garcia lands a body shot this time. Garcia leads with a right hand that gets block. Garcia showing signs of distress around his left eye. Spence lands a good combination with Garcia on the ropes. Spence comes forward and lands a left to the body, then throws another combination with Garcia on the ropes. Spence jabs again and then blocks a right hand from Garcia. Straight right from Garcia makes contact. Spence comes right back with a left. Spence 10-9, 58-56.
Round 7: Spence comes out and backs Garcia into a corner but then Garcia turns but Spence works the body with a number of shots on the inside. Right hand from Garcia misses upstairs. Spence lands a left hand lead upstairs. Straight left lands to the body again for Spence. Right hook lands to the body. Straight left hand lead lands for Spence. Spence digs the body with Garcia in the corner. Straight right hand makes contact for Garcia. Garcia tries another right hand that doesn’t land as well. Accidental head clash gives Spence a little swelling. Garcia jabs to the body. Spence gets in a short left on the inside. Right hand scores upstairs for Garcia this time but I don’t think it’s enough. Spence 10-9.
Round 8: Spence still on the attack to start the round as Spence just walks down Garcia and forces him to fight by being in his face non-stop. Garcia lands a lead hook to the body. Right hand lands to the body for Garcia. Left lands to the body for Spence. SPence throws to both sides of Garcia’s body. Jab lands for Spence now. Straight left hand for Spence finds the mark. Left hand from Spence lands upstairs. Right hook lands for Spence this time, who is starting to land a lot of punches on Garcia unanswered. Garcia tries a couple of hook sthat don’t land. Left to the body lands for Spence. Garcia lands a right hand lead. Spence 10-9, 78-74.
Round 9: Spence comes out and puts Garcia along the ropes. Spence stalks Garcia around the ring and Garcia tries to find some counter opportunities. Spence jabs to the body. Lead right hand makes contact for Garcia this time. Garcia comes forward momentarily and lands a left to the body. Garcia throws three punches and gets in a right hand. Spence lands a straight left to the body. Garcia tries two right hands that miss and takes a counter in return from Spence. Spence has taken his foot the gas big time in the last two minutes of this round but Garcia still hasn’t been able to get much done. Spence 10-9.
Round 10: Garcia’s left eye is almost swollen shut at this point. Jab lands upstairs for Spence. Spence lands downstairs with two punches. Straight right hand lands for Garcia. Spence circling the ring now and Garcia tries to lead with a right hand. Spence is backing up on Garcia inexplicably as he’s largely been dominating Garcia by applying the pressure and forcing the pace. Straight left lands downstairs for Spence. Counter right hand from Garcia lands clean and momentarily stuns Spence. Spence regains his bearings quickly and puts his gloves up. Two hard body shots land for Spence. Straight left lands to the body for Spence. Garcia 10-9, 93-97.
Round 11: Jab lands over the top for Spence. Jab lands again for Spence. Left to the body lands for Spence. Jab and body shot lands for Spence as he comes forward. Hard right hand lands to the body for Garcia. Now Garcia throws one upstairs that doesn’t land clean. Spence comes back with a combination as Garcia tries his best to roll the punches. Spence jabs and looks for a right hook to the body. Double right hand comes from Garcia. Jab and left hand lands downstairs for Spence. Right hand lead gets in for Garcia. Spence lands a right hand upstairs. Garcia misses on a shot to end the round. Spence 10-9.
Round 12: Both fighters meet at center ring and Spence starts stalking before looking for a big left hook that misses. A right hand lands for Spence this time. Double right hand lands for Spence. Garcia tries to fight off the ropes but can’t keep Spence off of him for more than a moment. Spence lands a right hook to the body. Jab and right hook lands to the body for Spence. Check hook lands for Spence. Garcia tries to jab but cant really find the mark. Spence digs to the body with a few hard shots. Garcia looks for a counter but can’t can’t it well. Garcia flurries to end the fight but it’s too late. Spence 10-9. I’ve got it a clear Spence win, 117-111.
