UFC Vegas 17 poster featuring Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson, Geoff Neal released

“Wonderboy” faces off with Geoff Neal on the official poster for UFC Vegas 17, which takes place on Dec. 19 at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Thompson and Neal step into the headlining spotlight after an originally scheduled main event between Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev was postponed due to both men testing positive for COVID-19.
This is Thompson’s third headlining assignment in his last four fights. After back-to-back losses to Anthony Pettis and Darren Till, Thompson rebounded with a unanimous decision win over Vicente Luque in November of last year.
Neal closes out a UFC show for the first time. “Handz of Steel” is 5-0 in the UFC since winning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series.
