The promotion held 17 events in 2020, including a burst of events this summer after a four-month layoff due to the coronavirus pandemic. Several veterans made their way to the UFC based on impressive performances, including flyweight Jimmy Flick, who went on to make the list for MMA Fighting’s Submission of the Year.
A special shoutout went to recent UFC title challenger Brandon Moreno, who made a one-fight pitstop with the promotion and claimed the flyweight title after a rough patch in the UFC.
