Emelianenko is one of the most decorated fighters in MMA history and widely regarded as one of the greatest ever to compete in the heavyweight division. He became a star in Japan’s PRIDE promotion in the 2000s before making the move to Strikeforce, where he continued a legendary 28-fight unbeaten streak before being upset by future UFC champion Fabricio Werdum. He retired in 2012 before returning to compete for RIZIN, Fight Nights Global, and Bellator.
His most recent outing saw him defeat Quinton “Rampage” Jackson by first-round TKO at Bellator 237 in December 2019.
