Ode Osbourne | Esther Lin, MMA Fighting Ode Osbourne has himself a fight this weekend after all.
Earlier this week, the UFC officially announced that Osbourne (8-3, 1 NC) will fight Jerome Rivera (10-4) in a featherweight bout this Saturday at UFC Vegas 18.

Osbourne was reportedly set to face UFC newcomer Denys Bondar at Saturday’s show, but that matchup was never formally announced. Instead, the Contender Series contract winner looks for his first UFC win against Rivera after losing by submission to Brian Kelleher in January of last year.
This will be a quick turnaround for Rivera, who is 0-2 in the UFC so far after debuting with the promotion in September. Rivera lost by second-round TKO to Tyson Nam, then dropped a unanimous decision to Francisco Figueiredo in January. He competes for the second time in 17 days.
