Between the Links returns for another special live edition ahead of a busy weekend in combat sports.
Host Mike Heck is joined by reigning BTL champion, MMA Fighting deputy editor Steven Marrocco as he defends his title against longtime MMA journalist Josh Gross.
This week, the panel will discuss the current state of the UFC’s lightweight division a little less than two weeks after Dustin Poirier’s knockout win over Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler’s memorable octagon debut KO win over Dan Hooker at UFC 257, if there is more or less clarity since the event, and where a vocal Nate Diaz fits into the mix.
In addition, they will discuss Paige VanZant’s long awaited BKFC debut this Friday at KnuckleMania, Saturday’s UFC Vegas 18 event headlined by Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov—along with the pivotal bantamweight co-main event between Cory Sandhagen and Frankie Edgar—Stephen A. Smith’s recent comments about women’s MMA, and more.
Who will leave the virtual BTL arena with the most coveted title in MMA media? Find out at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on Thursday, Feb. 4.
Audio-only versions of the podcast can be found on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Stitcher and YouTube.
