Bobby Green | Zuffa LLC Jim Miller vs. Bobby Green could be off of UFC 258.
The lightweight bout in danger of being canceled after Green collapsed backstage following Friday’s official weigh-ins, according to UFC President Dana White.
Bobby Green just collapsed back there,” White told reporters when asked about the absence of Green and Miller during the official staredowns. “Doctors are looking at him. They’re trying to re-hydrate him right now.”
White could not confirm whether Green’s fall had to do with issues with his weight cut.
A source with knowledge of the plans told MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin that as of Friday afternoon, the bout remains on the schedule, but is still subject to change depending on Green’s condition.
Green and Miller both successfully weighed in Friday morning, with Green tipping the scale at 156 pounds and Miller at 155.5. Of the 24 fighters competing on Saturday, Green was the last to weigh in and he did so with a little over 15 minutes remaining in the official two-hour window.
This was to be Green’s 16th UFC appearance, and the 37th for Miller, who already owns the UFC record for most octagon appearances.
