Darren Till | Esther Lin, MMA Fighting Darren Till and Mike Perry are at it again, though this time their verbal jabs may actually lead to something productive.
The UFC fighters have publicly butted heads on multiple occasions, sometimes in a friendly way and sometimes in a not-so-friendly way, but they appeared to be on good terms during a recent Instagram live chat. While the topic if their informal 2018 sparring session came up, the trash talk appeared to be good-natured for the most part.

“I f*cking battered ya,” Till said. “You’re too small, I told you. You’re tiny. How can you beat me?”
“How were you bleeding then?” Perry said.
“Stop yourself,” Till answered with an excited shriek. “Stop your behavior, mate.”
Till has previously spoken about the impromptu training session that took place in a hotel, though he preferred not to say which of the two fighters got the better of it. Face-to-face with Perry on a video call, neither man was reluctant to crack wise about who was the better man that day.
The conversation then steered towards their respective careers, with Till saying he’d still love to fight Perry someday, but that he’d also like to see “Platinum” string together a few wins. Perry is currently mired in a 3-6 stretch dating back to December 2017.
Till advised Perry to change up his training schedule, a suggestion that Perry struggled with given that he’s recently become a father.
“Sacrifices have to be made,” Till said. “I’m not with my family right now either.”
“I know, I don’t know how you fighters do that sh*t,” Perry said. “If I’m fighting for something, I’m fighting every day to be with my family.”
“But I want to see you get three wins in the welterweight division now,” Till said. “That’s what I want to see.”
Till went as far as to offer to have Perry fly over to England to train at his gym, though he warned that he’d have a special surprise waiting for the Florida-based fighter.
“First of all, when you land in the airport I’m gonna punch the head off ya,” Till said. “And then I’ll shake your hand.”
On Tuesday, Till shared a Photoshopped picture of himself and Perry inserted into the Step Brothers movie poster, with a caption suggesting that the two be named as coaches for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.
Till is currently scheduled to fight Marvin Vettori in the middleweight headliner of a UFC event on April 10.
