Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC Aiemann Zahabi snapped a two-fight skid in the most impressive way, stopping Drako Rodriguez with a vicious right hand in the first round of their preliminary card meeting at UFC Vegas 19.
Rodriguez left himself exposed with a lead uppercut and was knocked flat on his face after Zahabi replied with a straight right. A follow-up hammerfist was academic as the referee intervened at the 3:05 mark of the first round.
Check out the finish.

It was an important turnaround for Zahabi, the brother of Tristar head coach Firas Zahabi. The bantamweight came into the fight on the heels of a decision loss to Vince Morales that followed a brutal knockout loss against Ricardo Ramos.
Aiemann Zahabi’s octagon record now stands at an even 2-2.
