Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Randy Brown is out of his UFC Vegas 20 matchup with Oliveira for undisclosed reasons. Sources confirmed that the promotion is seeking out a replacement opponent.
MMA Junkie was first to report Brown’s scratch.
Oliveira looks to get back in the win column after a first-round submission loss to Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 254 in October. “Cowboy” entered the bout on a two-fight winning streak, earning decisions over Max Griffin and Peter Sobotta.
