Esther Lin, MMA Fighting Standout featherweights Hakeem Dawodu and Movsar Evloev will meet at UFC 263 this summer.
Multiple people with knowledge of the matchup confirmed the news to MMA Fighting following a report from MMA DNA. UFC 263 takes place June 12 at a location to be announced.
Dawodu returns to the octagon after a split decision over Zubaira Tukhugov in his previous outing at UFC 253. It was the third time in four previous appearances he earned a win via split call in a five-fight winning streak dating back to UFC on FOX 30 in 2018. A head-kick KO of Yoshinori Horie earned him a “Performance of the Night” honor at UFC 240.
Evloev most recently fought at UFC 257, where he outpointed veteran Nik Lentz in dominant fashion. The 27-year-old Russian remains unbeaten in pro MMA after 14 appearances, including four straight in the octagon.
UFC 263 features a flyweight title rematch between champ Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno.
