Garbrandt gets back to work after snapping a three-bout skid that sapped his stock after taking the title in 2016 from Dominick Cruz. The Team Alpha Male product bounced back this past June with a “Knockout of the Year” candidate against Raphael Assuncao.
Font, meanwhile, is on a three-fight winning streak and earned his shot at top-tier competition this past December with a stoppage of one-time title challenger Marlon Moraes.
The fight marks Font’s first five-round fight in the octagon. Font is No. 3 in the UFC’s top-15 rankings, while Garbrandt is No. 4.
