Taking on late replacement Harry Hunsucker in the opening bout on the main card at UFC Vegas 22, Tuivasa was gunning for the knockout from the opening exchange and he set up his finish with a series of hard leg kicks as soon as the fight got started.
He followed that up with a fast overhand right hand followed by a second shot directly behind it that put his Hunsucker down on the ground.
The UFC newcomer would not get up again as Tuivasa continued to rain down blows in succession until there was no choice but for the referee to stop the fight before further damage was done.
The end came at just 49 seconds into the first round.

“I really feel I’ve improved my stand up as well. I was just ready for anything,” Tuivasa said after his second consecutive knockout win. “I’m back on the ball now so anyone in the top 15 or anyone. Really just anyone that wants to bang on.”
After suffering a trio of consecutive losses, Tuivasa has now bounced back with a pair of victories including his win on Saturday night.
Always game for a slugfest, Tuivasa still has a lot of room to grow as he continues to be a tough out for anybody in the heavyweight division.
