Miocic vs. Ngannou 2 took place March 27 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The heavyweight main event was a rematch from their first fight that Miocic won by decision. The fight aired live on ESPN+ pay-per-view. Catch more video highlights below.

Round 1
Miocic and Ngannou both giving a lot of distance to start. Very patient opening here and the first shot landed is a low kick from Ngannou. Ngannou cutting the cage off and lands a body shot. Both of those are good tactics for Ngannou.
Not a lof from Miocic early and Ngannou lands a big right hand that Stipe eats but doesn’t over exert himself. Now Miocic shoots but Ngannou sprawls beautifully! Ngannou akes the back and he’s hammering shots in on Miocic! Miocic gets to his feet but he ate some shots. And now they are back in space and Miocic looks fine.
Big head kick lands for Ngannou but Miocic eats it. His chin has held up very well here. And now Ngannou is taking his time again but he’s breathing a little bit. Miocic still staying on the outside and clearly looking to weather the early rounds.
The question is whether Ngannou will get gassed out at this pace because it is glacially slow. Not a lot from either man. Good low kick from Ngannou and he should do that all night because Miocic has had no answer for it thus far. Another low kick for Ngannou as the round ends.

Round 2
Miocic’s corner tells him he needs to bring more offense this round and that is certainly true. But overall, Miocic ate big shots and seems fine, and those punches aren’t going to get harder at this point.
Round 2 starts and Ngannou goes for a big right hand but misses. Miocic coming in with more offense now, working in behind a jab. But that puts him in the line of fire. Miocic steps in and gets clobbered! Miocic is hurt and he’s stumbling back. Ngannou chases him and tries to find the finishing blow but can’t! Miocic lands a clean counter but he’s still in huge trouble and Ngannou lands a huge left hook! Miocic falls back CroCop-Gonzaga style and this is over! A follow up shot from Ngannou puts him out cold! We have a new champion!
