In addition I believe no one gets enough calcium and magnesium so I advocate a calcium/magnesium/vitamin D supplement. Take twice as much as suggested and divide the dose. Taking some before bedtime may help you sleep. Vitamin D and calcium help prevent cancers and magnesium is necessary to balance the calcium. Magnesium by itself will raise calcium blood levels but this is not a good thing as the body will take calcium from your own bones to raise blood levels. When I was a teenager I developed cysts on my legs because caklcium was leeched from my bones ue to overconsumption of acidic soda pops and inadequate consumption of calcium.
