Dana Linn Bailey Fatigued Kristen Nun’s Triceps With One Massive Superset

Former Women’s Physique Olympia champion Dana Linn Bailey met with bodybuilder and Flag Nor Fail sponsored athlete Kristen Nun for an epic arm session. Bailey does not shy away from challenging workouts, nor does Nun, who has quite impressive arms. On Sept. 1, 2022, Bailey pushed Nun through an intense triceps training session. Barbell/Dumbbell Close-Grip Bench, Skull Crushers, & Close-Grip Pushups
This entire workout consisted of one extended set thought up by Bailey as payback for their previous biceps session with Jake “Big Boy” Johns. The set consisted of three exercises performed without rest for five sets. The reps for each exercise descended from 12, 10, eight, six, and four reps of close-grip bench press, then to failure on the bodyweight skull crushers and close-grip push-ups.
For the close grip bench presses, each athlete increased the weight of each set and lowered the reps. Their top set of four reps was the heaviest set. Moving onto a body weight variation of the skull crusher, they started in a plank position with their hands a little more than thumbs width apart.
They lowered themselves using their triceps until their head came under the barbell for a deep stretch at the bottom of the rep. They pressed back up with their focus on their triceps, keeping their cores tight and engaged. They took each set to failure.

It looks exactly like a skull crusher, except you’re using your body weight as weight instead of a dumbbell.
The last portion of the circuit was diamond push-ups or close-grip push-ups to failure. Bailey advised during close grip that she feels in her triceps more by keeping her elbows tucked close to the body.
Mentality
Bailey advocated for maintaining high intensity throughout while maintaining perfect form.
This was difficult, this was extremely difficult, it feels good though.
Both athletes achieved massive arm pumps. Nun’s arms appeared to have grown several inches with intense vascularity covering them like weeds.

Bailey is currently on a hiatus from competitive bodybuilding and did not state in this video if there were any current plans for her return. She could return to the Olympia stage at any time in the Women’s Physique division as she holds a lifetime invite as a former Olympia champion.
