Introduction and Adductors
After a set on an abductor/adductor machine, Awodibu shared that at the time of filming, he was a little over nine weeks out from the Olympia. Awodibu has been criticized by fans and experts for his legs not comparing well to his upper body but has been focused on getting better.
I know you guys want me to win so bad, you want me to bring my legs up. Trust me, we’re working.
This workout focused on quads because Awodibu’s programming calls for two leg workouts per week. The other workout focuses on the hamstrings. For this session, he did four working sets of adductors. The reps weren’t disclosed, but he did 20 reps on one set with his trainer spotting and coaching him through it.
Leg Extensions
Awodibu moved on to leg extensions, where he performed two warm-up sets followed by a double drop set for 10 reps per weight he used. His trainer handled the changing of the weight and encouraged the “Boogieman” to get back to work immediately. After 30 total reps, his set was over.

Smith Machine Squat
The next exercise was Smith Machine squats. Awodibu started with two 45-pound weight plates on each side of the bar. Awodibu added a 45 to each side of the barbell each set until he reached five plates per side. In between sets, he shared why he liked this movement and how he’s been working to improve his mind-muscle connection.
I really feel my quads on each rep of this one. Now that I’ve been working on individual sides, I can engage my quads better.
In the last two sets, Awodibu wore knee sleeves and his custom “Boogieman” weight belt. He stayed in the 10-15 rep range for all four sets.
Seated Leg Press
The fourth exercise was the seated leg press. The machine Awodibu used allowed him to work each leg individually or both together, and that’s why he preferred it. Awodibu opted to use both legs simultaneously on this day, and he didn’t wear shoes during this portion of the workout.
The trainer eventually had seven 45-pound plates on each side of the machine. Awodibu performed 10 reps with that weight on the third set that was shown on camera before moving on.
Hack Squat & Split Squat
The hack squat machine was next, and Awodibu started with three plates per side for 12 reps. He did the same number of reps for the next two sets with four and five plates per side, respectively. The final exercise was a split squat while using a deadlift machine. The weight that Awodibu used wasn’t shown clearly on camera, and only one set was aired.
